the festive season has been a blast! now we’re ready to get stuck into 2026!
We will be closed on Wednesday 4th & thursday 5th february - Back on friday 6th with business as usual!
The last year was awash with music, quizzes, creative & charitable events. While the world seems to spin evermore out of control, this year we’re planning more of the good stuff & try and stay grounded in our tiny pocket of Hertforshire with our wonderful community of wonderful folk.

Bingo queen Maddy & Mama Jo are hosting a very special Bingo evening in aid of CALM. We’re currently fully booked for bingo but please get in touch in case of cancellations!
THE HAPPY FUN TIME QUIZZY QUIZ with John Bollard Saturday 21st February
Not your usual quiz - an absolute riot! We’ll be raising essential funds for the Garden House Hospice - get booked in as space is fulling up fast!

WELCOME FOLKS!
We will continue to take reservations for diners only however with the increased volume of tables we have many more tables available. If there are tables available inside you are welcome to join us until it’s needed, and there is usually plenty of space once the food is winding down, & through the afternoon on a Friday and Saturday. All bookable tables are well sheltered underneath our tented area & we have hot water bottles to take the edge off!

We endeavour to answer every call but the bar can be very loud & busy during service so we don't catch you please do try again… We will also try to answer all calls made outside of these hours, however, if we don’t pick up please try again or drop us an enquiry.
